Assembly, Kitting and Reverse Logistics

Labor intensive handling of individual units is often necessary and ADI Logistics has a long history of managing these types of projects.

Sometimes it involves fixing mistakes made overseas, and sometimes it is making corrections due to changes in the price, the order, or the assortment of the merchandise.

Often different components arrive from different manufacturers and have to be married up into one selling unit. Sometimes the quality or sizing of the merchandise has to be checked before sending it on to your customer.

Complex Assembly and Kitting

With our origins in the apparel industry, ADI Logistics has handled millions of units of clothing:

• We apply, remove, and change hangers.
• We apply and change price tickets, UPC tickets, hang tags, and stickers.
• We do size changes, and woven label and care label changes.
• We perform Q.C. (Quality Control) inspections, including sizing specs and color matching (ADI has enhanced lighting).
• We do Kitting – bringing together different components into one unit.
• We do Repackaging – packaging items into new packaging.
• We do Reassorting - Making new size assortments and musical packs for shipping.
• We do Stuffing of handbags and knapsacks.

We will handle your Reverse Logistics, whether customer returns or store returns, sort out the damages, refurbish and restock the non damaged items, tally, and report to you so that you can resell or dispose of your returns quickly.
